The Company Bucchi was founded in 1973 as a small concern for production of moulds for other companies, for injection moulding

In 1976 the founder, Domenico Bucchi, with the know-how acquired and his own inventiveness, anticipated the market trends and started a business for transformation of plastic materials, called techno-polymers and thus developed innovative products: fittings and valves.

In the 80s, the know-how gained in injection moulding of fittings, along with the success achieved on the international and European markets, paved the way to the development of production and sales.

In the early 90s the Company underwent major changes, what had been a craft industry was transformed into Bucchi s.r.l., the operating structure was consolidated and besides the already existing product lines: “2000” for the industrial and agricultural markets – “3000” for the wine industry – ” 8000″ for industry in general – “7000” for the chemical industry in particular- the Company started producing innovative articles, as the “tech evolution System” and later the “tech MP System” which fully satisfy all requirements for water supply and heating lines.

Since 1997 the Company has had its own QUALITY SYSTEM, in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9002 standards.

At the beginning of the new Millennium the facilities at via Bonsi, in Lugo – RA – Italy were enlarged, also improving the Company?s industrial image, and the new line “51” “tech hidraulico System” for water supply was developed.

Today Bucchi is a market oriented Company. In order to expand and consolidate this objective the Company decided at the end of the year 2000 to conform its own QUALITY SYSTEM to the standards: ISO 9001:2000 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.
